Have just found this watch clearing out my fathers shed its running but the display seem a little out of true in the case, will I be able to straiten it up and if so how.Also where can I get a strap to fit this model.

you’ll need to show a photo shire person, the model number is on the back. 248 is the module number. Depending on what back the watch has depends on the difficulty without tools. but the adjustment of the module is pretty easy.

The 248 module uses a BR-2016 Lithium battery, readily available from E-bay and even many supermarkets.

These models had ‘Resin’ band, which typically had short life before it cracked up.
Casio used a lot of excellent, Stainless bands on more expensive models. You are unlikely to find a good resin band now, unless someone has one ferreted away. Ask around other watch sites.
I would fit a Stainless band. Measure the gap where the pins fit. Ask Casio dealers for B317L for 18mm, B859N for 19mm, B374L for 20mm.

Get a Mac computer. Everything works so seamlessly, you won’t believe it! The software is integrated and is cheap! you are not always paying to upgrade like in P.C’s. I’ll never regret chucking my P.C!
