I’m on the hunt for a Lorus digital watch I bought in 1990. The battery died some time ago, and someone must have thrown it away. It was mostly black with the logo of a ship’s wheel or something at the top. The watch face was a large digital area (as I remember) with a layout like this:

This was the first “grown up” watch I had as a kid, and even proof that it existed would be great!

Wow! It definitely had that digital face (and those painful buttons!), but mine was all black.

Pulsar seems to be made by the same people as Lorus, so the watches are probably cousins. Was Pulsar for the US market and Lorus for Europe?

Seiko owned them both, Im not sure if they were for a specific market or not we had all three in the UK. The same module is also found in Seikos M422 I think. There are a lot of variations but the watch number for the pulsar will always start W041-XXXX. Good luck with your hunt.

Completely forgotton I had it until yesterday when i found it in a box in my garage, still running with NO battery change since new !! Time was obviously out but day/date accurate. Amazing watch !!
