I would like to present a Citizen Solar Cell 59-1033.

Oh my god….never seen before…The serial number on the case back says : 1977 (you must include the first number),so in my opinion this one could be considered a crystron, a solar crystron. A very rare one from the crystron era…

right…. the first number is the year,like in the seiko lcd watches…

Also the second and third numbers are the month.. For example yours is a March(03). This differs slightly from Seiko as they use 1-9 and the O for October, N for November and of course, D for December.

Fantastic watch very rare. I just don’t think there was enough room to fit the wording crystron on their too!
