Disastrous companies in the UK like Dixons, and H Samuels, belatedly started to try and sell appalling ‘technology’ to daft consumers, for a fast buck( old walkmans, midi systems, Mini disc players -pretty much anything they could buy cheap because they new mobile phones were coming) . A bit like Amstrad (now Lord Sugar?)  Matsui I think was one brand Dixons invented- made by Sanyo?  I think you won’t see a collectors web site for that

Quite possibly few folks bought such an overpriced rubbish watch that now it could be rare,

H. Samuels still peddles low grade gold and mis-represented diamonds to our high streets
