From my research, this movie was filmed in late 1979 so the watch was made in ‘79 or earlier. It is seen briefly late in the film in a night scene when Martin Landau’s character “Sarge”  is fighting with the Jack Palance character “Joe Taylor”. It looks like a metal-cased watch with a metal band though I can’t tell if the watch is steel colour or gold tone but it is probably steel.

I thought it was a was a calculator watch but upon looking closely it isn’t. Soon I will post exact time frame this watch is seen in the movie. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help identify Martin Landau’s watch in ths film!

I hadnt heard of this watch or film to be honest. One of my collecting areas is watches in the movies so I am interested to help. When you have a screen shot upload it. Its very difficult without that s there are so many calc watches. Although 1979 does narrow it down a lot.

If it is 79 its not going to be a Casio as the C-*** series were only released in 1980.

Here is the screen shot from about 1:27:17 in the movie. EDIT: I now have the newly issued DVD/Blu-Ray edition of Without Warning (1980) which was released in August 2014. The picture quality has improved and from that I notice Martin Landau’s watch is of the four-button style with what looks like a blue or grey face plate.
