Hi, I have the following watch, which appears to be in great condition complete with original casio bracelet.
I don’t know if it works or not as I need to replace the battery.
Can anyone tell me how much a new battery would be to get fitted?
Also can anyone point me in the right direction to find any info on it, like when it was made etc?
It seems to be a very basic watch, but looks kinda cool, so was thinking about trying to get it working.
But if its going to cost ?10 or so, I probably wont bother. I have wondered about trying to replace the battery myself, but dont want to take the back off incase springs and that go everywhere !!!!
Thanks for any advice / info in advance.

The batteries are not that expensive ,if you can do it yourself the costs are only about 2 to 3 pounds on ebay.
Obviously if you bring it to a “watch repair shop” it would cost more, probably about the 10 pounds (or more) you were talking about.
I would try it myself, but you would need a watch knife to open it ,if it is a snap on back ,but if it’s a screwback you have to use another tool.
Any pictures of the back ?
