Hi watch people, does anyone know where to get a 1987 Citizen Windsurfer watch?
I don’t know the serial number as I lost my one years and years ago, but it’s the model where one of the buttons is grey, the others being black I think.

Welcome Johnny Dundee. I am pretty dour its the D060 Citizen Windsurfer. They are quite desireable and seem to fetch good prices on ebay.  There are a couple up now. There are quite a number of variations too. I think there might be an advert in the vintage adverts section.

regards

The Citizen D060 has black and red .The Accurist D060 has gray and red.Parts are almost impossible to find for either but be patient and a reasonable one will come up on Ebay. For Citizen there is the D060 the D120 and the D288.There are several newer versions that are more like the Wingman. If you can speak Portuguese there are several on Mercado Livre. Not sure of other Accurist models.Hope this helps.

Not at the moment but i’ll go and see if I can get it running. Whats the deal with these they seem to fetch silly money. Were they in a movie or something?

Just not many around or out in the open.Be careful as there is an alarm spring like the Casios.I find it hard to believe the buttons are worn. They slip out of position easily on the movement. The reset is all four buttons at the same time.

Here you go. I did a quick strip down and have life. I need to play or replace the zebras and if that doesnt work resilver the last few pcb to lcd contacts as the had a bit of corrosion.

The buttons are very tight and I need to spend some time on them as they may not be back in their original holes. I think this may be why its stayed in the ‘to do’ list for so long.

You’ll need to send them through to me if you have anything you think should be in the library. I dropped the members section as it was just too much hassle to keep control of. So no actual gallery of members photos if that what you meant.
