I’ve just bought one of these, but really annoyingly the previous owner has removed the battery. Can anyone tell me what model I should be installing?

I’m going to have to look through my parents’ house as I’m sure that my original watch from the eighties is there with its manual and box. If I find it I’ll scan the instructions.

Thanks

Hi Soapy Twist and welcome.
If its module 694 I think off the top of my head I think its a CR2016 but ill pop one open later and confirm. If you do have the manual anywhere and a photo of your AE-8W we’d really appreciate on the site as we dont have a 694 manual or an AE-8W(plenty of others though!).

regards

Sorry - should have put the module number. It’s 188 - nearly identical to the AE-9W that’s in the gallery.
