This is one of the very first (if not the first) watch to be widely sold with the field effect LCD display. Operations are very basic (hours and minutes only) with crown for setting. Uses a very early AMI hand soldered module (505). Early piece of LCD history.

I was incredibly excited when I bought this watch in 1972 when it first came out. I paid $150 and thought it was a bargain since LED watches were much more expensive and went through batteries very quickly.  By the time it’s display stopped working about a year or two later LED watches were so cheap it did not pay to repair it. I still have the watch with it’s original leather band; and even better I have the manual. I rate it ‘Great’ because of it’s historic significance.
