Hello

I have a dead battery in a Casio Databank watch. I want to replace the battery but there are additional black plastic inserts which hold the rear panel on (see attachment). Has anyone encountered this on a watch before? I think the only way to remove them is to press down on two spring loaded pins simultaneously, very difficult! Is there a special tool for the job!?

Solved this myself, there is a single inner pin on both the top and bottom of watch which removes the whole strap! Battery replaced and working fine!
