Hi im just getting into collecting digital watches and im wondering how to tell
the difference between an original casio 1572 a168 and a modern reproduction.

I cant help much as its a bit too new for me. Things to check would be module, country made(Japan, Thailand, korea or China) and possible fascia changes. Any information you find. Please post so I can add to the library.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Well… about 4 years ago I bought 2 re-productions. A 168 and a DB 360. But I really don’t know the difference. Both of mine are made in China.
