Hi,
New to the Forum, Simon from QLD Australia!
I’ve just purchased a job lot of old digital Star wars related watches. One of which was the above mentioned watch. Special to me as I had one as a kid, but it got broken after a play fight with my older brother!!
So I’ve managed to find a boxed one….without instructions sorry webmaster! but the battery in it was dead. Replaced the battery but it did nothing.
Am I missing some sort of reset on a digital watch, or should a battery replacement pretty much be the reset.
All of the LCD watches that I purchased at this stage don’t work, same story as above. LCD’s…..do they have a capacitor, they all seem to have the same looking cylindrical unit. Is that a capacitor?
I’m guessing that if they do, it would play a major part in firing the watch up? If I’m wrong, please some one fill me in with the workings?
I would dearly like to get these watches going, especially the musical one, is there a specialist any where, once dead….is it all over??
They were sold as is, so there is no upset that they didn’t work, but they are all original and just look like the day they were purchased.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Simon
