I found this web site searching for Casio watch parts…

I need a replacement back, or replacement case for a Casio W-850 watch.

The piezoelectric crystal on the inside of the screw-on back case fell off of mine the last time the battery was changed.

If there is another model, with a back that is compatible with the W-850, that’s fine. I just want my watch to work again. If someone has one in a drawer that has a bad electronics module in it or a cracked case; I’d be interested in it to make mine work again.

Any help or suggestions anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I’ve already created a saved search on eBay for my watch. There’s nothing available on there right now.

Really rare watch Montef. I have one here in need of a new crystal. I dont think your chances are that great finding a new rear back. You could try a different approach and buy a new piezoelectric crystal and replace your broken one. I know they are available. Let me know how you get on.

  Thanks for the reply and the information!

  I didn’t know the piezoelectric crystals could be replaced.  I wonder; would you have the time and be willing, to take the back off of your W-850 and take some pictures for me of the inside of it that show the piezoelectric, it’s placement on the back and some kind of rough measurement of the diameter of it?
  Do you know of any sources for finding new/replacement piezoelectrics?  If I could find the part; perhaps I could find a jeweler who could do the repair for me.
