I’ve noticed you have an incorrect picture representing the Seiko a258 5050 what you have is the a258 5000 a silverwave model that is in fact water resistant. the a258 5050 says sport where the a258 5000 says silverwave. certainly not a huge issue just something i noticed.

Stingray, I will change them over when I do my next upload. Thank you for taking the time. To me it is hugely importaqnt to be right. But without the casing manual for the Seikos its very difficult to be certain its right. Now I know I can change it.

Oh, Cool! I just got a N.O.S. crystal for mine. Is it easy to change out?? I was going to take it to a jeweler but if its easy i would like to try it myself.

Thanks for the info, I figured it was a tricky process. to the jeweler I go!

Ok, I took my watch to the jeweler, and he informed me there is a crystal gasket that may need to be replaced. He is going to try and salvage the old one, but if he fails do you know where I could get one??
