I was contemplating getting or building a watch box to house my collection, but I’ve noticed that they all require the watches to be strapped around a cylindrical device similar to how they come in boxes. Since some of my straps are in mint condition, I am worried that they will curl or bend when in the same position for long periods of time, especially with the fastener holding them in place.

Am I fretting about nothing, or is there a better solution for keep the straps flat?

Not to drag up this old thread, but how does everyone else display their watches? Those fancy leather boxes look nice, but then so does the idea of buy genuine display stands and have them looking like they did in the shops.
