Hi, new to the forum and restoring Seiko watches.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a bracelet for the A714 “running man” The one I have is so badly worn I dare not use it.

I am also on the lookout for a fresh crystal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A good Jeweller watchman will be able to get you a new crystal cut. I dont know where you are but ?20-?30 would cover it in the UK. The strap is more difficult. The bracelet has a number on the lug ends, the two pieces that fit to the watch body. These are the important bits. what model A714 do you have?. That the 4 digits after the A714?

Hi Adam, super fast reply.

The model is A714-5000, bracelet number is C320.

The problem with the crystal is the grey printing has become discoloured on the face. Is this a separate part?

You’ll need to post a pic Dave but Im pretty sure they are separate. If you still have the lugs maybe you can pick up a similar sized bracelet, I’ll try to point you in the right direction. Again photos needed.

Hope this picture helps. As you can see it has some dark grey marks at the top right and bottom left corners, it also shows the bracelet wear.
