Hi all I have. H127-5000 Seiko watch that has a black smear on the control panel, I can see the numbers underneath this mark!  Do I need to find a New Old Stock LCD Control Panel or is there a fix for this?  If I find a Control Panel is this something that I can easily replace pop out/pop in or does it involve soldering?  Thanks Michael

Mike

Id need to see a photo but I think you’ll need a new lcd panel. Its not an easy repair either as the whole of the front fascia is the lcd panel. You’ll also need to remove the watch hands.

Hi Adam, I tried to download a photo but I received a error for photo being larger then “300 kB”!  I am using a digital canon camera and Apple IPad Pro!  I do not know how to make the photo less the 300 kB!

300kb is large for a photo just for screen use. Try changing the resolution to medium or low on the camera or ipad.
