Although this watch is called the DB-2000 it has no touch screen functions like the DB-1000. Maybe casio realized that the touch screen watches are very delicate and usually start to develop problems if you use them heavily for many years. So this watch has a navigation system that is operated through the buttons beneath the display. The current mode of the watch is indicated by the rectangle around "time". If you press the enter button, this rectangle starts blinking. Now, the four buttons on the left can be used to navigate to another function. By pressing up, down, left, right, the rectangle moves to the desired function. As soon as you press enter again, the display changes to the chosen function. Very peculiar, I have never seen a similar navigation system on any watch. Its a bit like a joystick navigation... The functions of the watch are very similar to the VDB-200: data can be stored according to different categories (business, private) and there is a personal section that can only be activated with a password. attr.
